Antarctic Fur Seal sitting on tussock grass at Cooper Bay.Once almost hunted to extinction they are now very common in South Georgia. If you walk on a beach on South Georgia, you have to keep an open eye against any Fur Seal as they tend to be very aggressive. However, if you lay down flat on the ground they are just curious.
